I'm a #Sanskrit novice but the linked post triggered thoughts about some interesting words: 🤓

- haaree (हारी): one wearing haara (हार a long draping necklace garland)
- hari (हरि): yellowish or greenish color
- ari (अरि): enemy (and other things)

There's also a homonym "hari" which means "one who removes". It is commonly used as an epithet of the #Hindu god wishnu. One should/could say what is removed, but it is assumed wishnu ends something undesirable for his devotee, usually obstacles to salvation.

#Trivia: hari is one of 24 epithets of wishnu, and is depicted with a specific icon related to how he holds (some of) his weapons. That's for a rainy day. 😀

Idol of Hindu deity Krishna with a long draping pearl necklace (haara), gold clothing and ornaments all through (simulating "golden body"), showing a disc in right palm and a crown conch in left palm, wearing a gold crown and shoes, and surrounded by a gold arch. White flower garlands from the top of the arch and around the crown flowing down on either side of Krishna.
