@priryo If we really want to up our #typography games, we need to start using the true minus sign "−" instead of hyphen "-" in numeric expressions as well.

Hypen: "-"
Minus sign: "−"
En-dash: "–"
Em-dash: "—"

I'm not quite there yet with the minus sign, but I still can't convince self-declared #influencers that I'm not an AI bot, so I suggest that they all unfollow me right now. In fact, block me. Burn your phones and laptops just to be safe. 🙂

It's an interesting fact that the progress of science was dictated by the Enlightenment, and utilized by the new class of wealthy and educated who strove to vanquish the old order of aristocrats and religious authority. The new upper and middle classes made science their own instruments, and financed and promoted further scientific advances, for their own interests.

The triumph of science was also the triumph of the new industrialists.
