A shot overlooking the lakes at the foot of Sete Cidades from a recent trip to the Azores. It's an interesting place to visit. Like a cross between Canada and Scotland. Very relaxed.
If you like dolphins, dairy, and driving (?), then this place has got you.

This morning, Mount Sakurajima, located in Kagoshima Prefecture on Japan’s Kyushu Island, erupted for the 54th time this year.
The volcanic plume reached a height of 2,600 meters, but no volcanic rocks were ejected.
The Japan Meteorological Agency has issued a Level 3 alert, warning against approaching the volcano.

Why we think this Alaska volcano might erupt
NOTE: It is just a rumour that #Trump considered renaming the volcano Mount Bone Spurr, in honour of all the patriotic #American men who, like himself, were prevented from serving in the military because of serious medial issues. He was supposedly dissuaded from this when he was told that it was likely Mount Spurr would soon become a Big-Ash pile that will expel lots of smelly gas.
