I wrote “Okada Boys: Is there punk in Nigeria?” for my zine #ShotgunSeamstress in 2015. It was a short but meandering exploration of subculture in the country my parents immigrated from.

At the time, I wasn’t aware of any actual #punk bands in #Nigeria, so I wrote about a stud-and-leather wearing pop star named #CharlyBoy who is famous for not only his music but his unorthodox lifestyle. At the time I wrote the article, he had been in the news for his work organizing okada (motorcycle taxi drivers).

Who all would be interested in doing an Odd-Sized Zine Jam in May?

I don't have any specific rules in mind except to make a zine with an unusual size/layout -- with an option to help beta-test the new Zine Arranger* update by using one of the new sizes/configurations in that.

But I would also love to have some co-facilitators, so if you have additional ideas for prompts or challenges, I'd love to hear them!

Does anyone know of a PRINT-QUALITY version of this Covid safety tri-fold brochure, or how to contact the creators?
