Unintentional Camera Movement.

Taken while I was running with a friend through a tunnel on Hawk Hill. As we ran, my finger accidentally hit the shutter button and I ended up with a 1/6 of a second snap of Nicole and the tunnel. A happy accident.

But that led to a tough question: how should I process the resulting photo? Post-processing involves many choices and Lightroom has so many buttons... so I pushed them all, lol.

Anyway, I ended up with four final candidates and I really like them all, for different reasons. My favorites are the first and the last.

A shaky picture of a woman running through an old military tunnel at the top of the Marin Headlands. The result is jittery and out of focus but has a lovely sense of motion. This version is fully saturated and the yellow light from a distant sunset shines on the walls of the tunnel.
Same picture, processed as a dual tone, almost monochrome picture with shades of silvery blue shadows and cold yellow highlights. It is much moodier and artsy.
Again the same image, this time done in muted colors, primarily browns, muddy yellows, and dark green. It has a grim and dirt feeling.
Same photo, this time black and white with high contrast and structure. The blurry lines are now hard slashes and angry pen strokes... A film noir illustration of a person running away from a murderer. This would be perfect for a graphic novel.
