More delays and disrespect
Via Kyle Griffin:
The #Trump Justice Department has missed the deadline to provide answers in the Alien Enemies Act case.
Judge #Boasberg had ordered the government to answer questions about Trump's deportation flights or "invoke the state-secrets doctrine and explain the basis for such invocation."
There are *never* any consequences for Trump's misconduct
Why should he *ever* obey any orders?
@FinchHaven @GottaLaff
He did have to appear in court a few times, but nothing ever came of that, did it?
@dougiec3 @FinchHaven @GottaLaff Well, E. Jean Carroll is considerably wealthier.
It is unusual to see someone walk after 34 separate and unanimous felony convictions, but those were misdemeanors raised to felonies, and as a 34-time first-time offender, what's a judge to do?
He's just a poor boy
From a poor family
@steter @dougiec3 @FinchHaven No consequences? He's had to pay out millions in civil case after civil case.
In criminal cases, nothing. But he was convicted on 34 counts and that remains on his record.
@GottaLaff @steter@mastodon.stevesworld.co @dougiec3 @FinchHaven
Stevie boy is trolling, I just blocked him and am moving forward with my life.
@steter @FinchHaven @GottaLaff
I haven't read that Trump has actually paid anything to anyone. The only news stories have been about Giuliani coughing up ( Oog!) what he was ordered to pay to the two Georgia election workers that he slandered. I'd appreciate any link to a news story that said Trump paid out what he was ordered.
@dougiec3 @FinchHaven @GottaLaff He had to secure a $91 million bond to appeal the verdict. I think it's still on appeal, so, unfortunately, she's only wealthier on paper so far.
@steter @FinchHaven @GottaLaff
Yeah. I didn't think so.
