Summer and I are feeling quiet today.
Yesterday, was a lot, with the contractor's crew working long after dark to secure the house before the storm arrived. By the time they cleared out we were all exhausted. I wasn't expecting to be working construction, but when the job doubled in size, it was all hands on deck.
I took the morning off to rest but Summer needed to get out and run.
I figured I could handle a quick walk at the beach.
The fresh but crisp air was good for both of us.

@NorcalGma2 She has the most fun.
@NorcalGma2 how far does she run? It looks like miles! How do you keep up with her? Lovely photos.
@CaraBruar She runs at full throttle for about an hour. I can't even guess how many miles. She runs ahead and back to me constantly and won't get too far away. I don't really have to keep track of her because she is keeping an eye on me. If I get behind she waits or comes to get me.
@NorcalGma2 no wonder she sleeps afterwards. Such a lucky dog to be so well looked after.
@NorcalGma2
I love your posts and photos of Summer on the beach. I hope your husband is doing well. Thank you for sharing.
@MelSedds
He is on the mend again. Thank you!

@NorcalGma2 Oh my gosh, what a sweet little angel.
@NorcalGma2 She's so cute!!!
@NorcalGma2 I love the photo of her grinning behind the tall grasses.
@SunnJax
I thought that was funny, too.
@NorcalGma2
These are beautiful photos of Summer. The first one looks like it could be a painting.
@NorcalGma2 The look on Summer's face in the tall grass pic is so great!
I'm glad you made it through all that.
It sounds like you were fortunate to have contractors willing to keep working until the house was weather-proof again.
