The phrase “constitutional crisis” is all over the internet & media. IMO, it is far more grave than that — the crisis we’re experiencing is fundamentally a moral one, although its effects are realized in the failure of our functioning government.

When human rights are withdrawn,
when lived human history is erased,
when kids & vulnerable segments of our population go hungry & unhoused,
when solutions to health hazards are defunded,
when necessary services are thrown into chaos,
when the environment (already in crisis) and wildlife are left unprotected,
when allies are forsaken to appease a Russian dictator,
when an entire nation finds itself living in fear and dread —- all for the purpose of MORE WEALTH for the richest of the rich, this is a moral failure that will include atrocities and large-scale death.

It’s gone far beyond the political realm. The gov’t is acting against our morality, our humanity.
