Since The Associated Press, in contrast to Google and Apple, continues to call the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of Mexico, I just made a donation as a thank you gesture.

@jeridansky just read “Google Maps updated its system Monday…. But it remains the "Gulf of Mexico" for users in Mexico while people around the world see "Gulf of Mexico (Gulf of America)" when viewing the map.

Just a fyi they aren't 100% good. They've changed the name of Denali. Their statement was basically Denali is 100% us so we'll adopt new name, but as we are international, we'll use what our international audience will know.
