It reminded me how wonderfully refreshing it is to immerse yourself in stories where people like you aren’t centered, and where people who are traditionally decentered dominate the spotlight. It actually sent me down an unexpected road! I expected to try another witches or women-themed show but I actually got into Native American productions! *Dark Winds* is a police procedural on Netflix set in the 1970s in the Navajo Nation—I do not love copaganda but I absolutely loved this show.
