Yeah I totally get that *Rez Dogs* is totally unrelated to *Motherland* and the only connection was made in my mind specifically, my delight at seeing a show completely dominated by people who I don’t see dominating my media (Native American kids in the former, women in the latter), so I can see it not being everyone’s cup of tea. (I need to think about why exactly I love it so much )

Airbender! Yes I love that show, the generation that watched it as kids were among the first digital natives so we have such an amazing online fan record of reactions to that show (I’m older than that generation but can appreciate the love). Have you seen *Dragon Prince: Mystery of Aaravos* (on Netflix in the US)? It’s the sophomore series by a couple of Airbender alums which I didn’t know going into it but as I watched the show that DNA became quite obvious. It’s not as immediately huge of a world as Avatar but it gets there—everything I loved about Avatar is there in Aaravos, and more.
