Summer is amazing.
Except in the middle of the night when I wake her up because I am snoring. Last night she decided to sit next to my bed and join in. Summer has quite the howl when she wants to make noise.
My poor husband, who wasn't snoring, couldn't believe the two of us were in unison.
So now Grandma is on a mission to stop snoring.
I know I only snore when I carry this extra ten pounds so it's gotta go.
Good thing we all thought it was funny.
Let's hope tonight is quieter for all of us.
Summer and I quietly watched this sunset this evening. We were practicing.

@NorcalGma2 Breathe Right nasal strips can help! My smart-watch tells me as long as I wear one of those and sleep on my side, no snoring.

I do not know of a veterinary equivalent, sadly

@NorcalGma2 nice: one application, two species

@NorcalGma2@sfba.social One of the things that has helped me to not snore is to make a conscious effort to breathe through my nose when I go to bed. Consciously I'm thinking of not opening up my mouth and just continue to breathe through my nose and it's a mind over body thing. I use an app called "Sleep as Android" to monitor me (and record any noises I might make) while I'm sleeping and if I do that the number of snoring incidents has gone way down. Also records if I'm coughing or talking in my sleep too.

@gme
Thank you for the good ideas.

@NorcalGma2 Beautiful sunset. Adorable Summer.

@NorcalGma2 Your story reminded me of years ago when I was living with my adult son and suggested he borrow his adoptive brother's pygmy goats to lessen the lawn mowing on the large yard. He did borrow them for a few weeks and I found myself often having to monitor them as their curiosity would sometimes get them into trouble. My cat was sleeping with my son one night and the cat woke him up to my Baaa-ing in my sleep. 😆 Apparently it was more startling than snoring would have been.

@NorcalGma2
I prescribe more gardening and walking with Summer.
