@augieray Not a tesla defender but I read the article and this is based on two (2) crashes + Las Vegas and that’s just not enough data to be statistically significant. I still wouldn’t ride in one!

@avirr @augieray This exactly. I hate the CT, the look, the danger it poses to pedestrians and cyclists, and the general wankerism that goes with it, but citing just three incidents, one where the vehicle was deliberately torched by the occupant, is meaningless statistically. The people at FuelArc, whoever they are, need to learn a bit more about statistics rather than just creating clickbait. I will add them to my list of online sources to assume are full of shit...

@avirr @augieray that’s a good point. I’d like to see the breakdown of how many cars, how many accidents, how many deadly crashes and then how many fatalities from fire/explosion. As it is now, probably not enough data to tell.
