This week's #AnimangaPictureChallenge ( @apc ) is "Happy Birthday"! And lo and behold, a series I'm a few episodes into - Oshi No Ko - has a perfect scene!

I hear that someone submitted a rather sad scene to this challenge, so I'll cheer everyone up. :)

This is the 1st Birthday of twins Aquamarine and Ruby! Their mother, 17-year old idol Ai Hoshino, has decided to record a little celebration, and a message to her children that she hopes they will watch together when the kids are all grown up.

The children, though, are both soundly sleeping through the recording. Ai isn't entirely sure in her ability to raise her children, nor sure in her own emotions, but with a little support from folks at her agency, does a fine job. :)

(No spoilers past Episode 2 please!)

Today's #AniAnimal is...

Uh, wait, no.

This week's #AnimangaPictureChallenge ( @apc ) is "Cute Animals"! And there's a huge wealth of options. I had lots to choose from, so in the end, I took a look at my AniList and went with my gut! I'll perhaps post some of my runners up at the end of the week :)

For my cute animal, I chose Momiji Souma from "Fruits Basket (2019)". As a member of the Souma family, he is possessed by an animal from the zodiac. And here, he caused the family a certain amount of trouble as he ends up in bunny form in a classroom.

I found Momiji an endearing character in himself, bubbling with energy and innocence despite the goings-on of the family. But he's also a very cute animal!

This week's #AnimangaPictureChallenge ( @apc ) is "Stunning Outfits"! I'm in a bit of a time pinch today, so this came from the first thing I thought of!

Early into her career at Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc, Kana is sent on a business collaboration with Miyakodo Corporation, a fashion and beauty company who happen to have a department of Magical Girls who fight monsters. And her tutor, Lily Aoi, makes sure they have stunning outfits both when fighting Kaii and when they're in the office! Their first order of business in the collaboration... a shopping trip.
