For centuries, women have been told that beauty is pain. That blisters and weak feet are the price they pay for style. Let's set a few things straight.

Happy Friday and last day of February to my fifth $5 for 5K #PDXSocial supporter! The afternoon sunlight was so warm and beautiful today, so I’m really glad I could share this snippet with you
It was my first time doing a 5K outside in my maybe-not-so-new-anymore #Vivobarefoot shoes, so I took it reeaaally slow, especially the first 2 km on paved paths. Thank you so much for your support! https://www.patreon.com/pdxsocial
Back in the beautiful rainy PNW with a 15-min indoor bike (broken, so no data) + “I hate treadmills but I have to get used to my #Vivobarefoot shoes” indoor run/walk (also broken and stopped 0.15 miles short, so I had to restart it at the end) for my third $5 for 5K #PDXSocial supporter. Thank you so much for all of your help! https://www.patreon.com/pdxsocial
I finally did my first mini mock #triathlon! 3.08 km + 1500 yard (1371 m)
+ 3.12 km
+ 2 km
, which was also test run #3 for my #Vivobarefoot shoe. (For reference, the sprint distance is 750 m swim + 20 km bike + 5 km run.)
I took it easy today but next time I’ll crank up the second bike segment to 10K, and add on my usual 5K run. Only 4 more months to go until race day…!
