I'm finding that a lot of colour and details are lost when I upload pictures. Anyone having the same issue? I'm saving them with standard web HD resolution. They look fine on my computer but loose quite a bit after upload. I've tried with both JPG and PNG. Any suggestions for #pixelfed uploads? Meta has their own image processing magic that really helps.

This is not so much a macro shot as the actual size is around 15cm. Made by using liquids of different viscosities, oil dyes handmade by me. It's such a learning curve to make these inks! Different pigments behave in diferent ways when melted in oil and also finding the right pigment from a good source is very much a challenge where I live. But we make do with what he have... and here is a snapshop of my playground!
