Is anyone who might be more familiar with homeowners/renters insurance than I able to weigh in.

After that sneaker waved tried to kill me, I went to see if my renters (why do they call it homeowners when i'm a renter?) insurance would cover any of the stuff I lost and they sent me these 17 exceptions.

Is it normal? Like... what *would* they cover?

I absolutely don't have the bandwidth to find a new insurance company but should I?

@Bronwyn Water damage through flooding is very commonly excluded. It's why there's a government flood insurance program. And the way your exclusion seems to be written is pretty common as well.

@kingrat what about the other 16? I guess that’s more my question.

@Bronwyn hard to tell because i can't see what coverages they apply to. i.e. if they apply to household contents or personal property or liability.

@kingrat Oh I see. Yeah, I'll have to find the whole thing.
