This is the first footage of an actual crash that I’ve seen. Check out how those vertical fender panels stick straight out like a Chinese cleaver. How will those things not slice into cars and dismember passengers and pedestrians? Cybertrucks aren’t legal to drive in Europe, and here I can see one reason why. They should not be legal to drive in the US either.

Short of regulations, I think it’s only a matter of time before someone files a defective-product lawsuit when they lose an arm when they get hit by this monstrosity. Maybe then we’ll get these boondoggles off the road.

@drahardja

This also goes to the reason why auto insurance companies are refusing to cover the Cybertruck (CT) wc is a nightmare to fix from an auto body perspective.

Normally, you can save a panel by pulling dents, filling & painting over them. Not so the CT.

How would you fix the side or rear end of the CT which use seamless panels???

Can't weld in anything & cant replace the panel by bolting a new one in either unless you choose to paint the CT to hide the repair but then every CT that's painted will be suspect of possible accident damage.

Makes me wonder how the idiot who shot a hole in his CT to prove that it was bullet proof got that fixed & whether his insurer would actually cover it or not.

LOL! 🤦
