I must have reported at least 30 of these RMT assholes just last night in #FFXIV

It's the same website URL, the same copypasta text, the same pattern of names with 3 or 4 letter names.

Square Enix could easily filter this at the input stage and automatically ban them before anyone ever sees the spam. It would take a programmer about 5 minutes to write a routine to match this, and would save everyone a huge headache.

So the #FFXIV lesson I've learned while playing this new alt, where I am buying the materials I can't gather off the Market Board to craft stuff is that if you want to make money on the Market Board, the best thing you can do is focus on the materials necessary to craft the gear that is at Level 50/51, 60/61, 70/71, 80/81, 90/91, because each of these is a dramatic increase in Item Level over the Level 48/58/68/78/88 gear, and players can get to those levels before they can gather the materials.

Last night in #FFXIV, I worked on world hopping, buying up all the materials to craft all the Level 80/Item Level 515 gear for PLD and RDM, and almost all the Level 81/Item Level 480 gear for the crafting and gathering classes, even though I mostly can't equip it, yet. This is the High Durium/Gajaskin/Darkhempen/Ametrine/Horse Chestnut gear. All the materials are from Shadowbringers, so I can't gather them until I finish Stormblood. I still need to meld materia to most of them, though.

It's /technically/ Monday, although I won't be around properly for at least 12 hours, considering I've yet to sleep!

But remind me: Does the one-item-a-week thing with raids, mean it'll take FIFTEEN weeks to kit out one job with Cruiser gear? (until whichever update where they lift the cap).

I won't struggle to fill 15 weeks, it's not that. It just seems a long time for one class/job is all.

Nearing the last days of my Final Fantasy 14 subscription. It's been an experience with some good, some bad, and some irritations. While I don't plan on resuming my subscription, I'm glad I gave it a try and will keep an eye on it.

Regardless of my indifference, I do like the final look of my toon.

Hmm... I once postulated that Elpis might have become Azys Lla, but as you learn the origin of Azys Lla in Stormblood (and that's not it, I just forgot), I now wonder if maybe it became the Sea of Clouds. I mean, it could be anywhere, obvs, but there are some big and obvious similarities. #FFXIV

I decided to revert to the Level 60/Item Level 255 glamours in honor of the Azim Steppe, since that's where I am now in the MSQ of #FFXIV #Stormblood. Besides which, it's one of the best looking outfits in the game for casters. Most of the sets are so bad, including the Level 70/Item Level 385 set I'm actually wearing.

Oh, I forgot just how much I hate Bardam's Mettle in #FFXIV #Stormblood.

Just the part where you have to face the three trials in the middle of it, and if you fail even the last part of the third trial, you have to go all the way to the beginning.

It only took me about a dozen tries, this time. The first time I did it, it was probably more like 50 tries.
