This week we only had my partner and I turn up, decided to play our lowbies and continue working on my partners ministrel quest to catch up to where my guardian is at. We swapped who the alts partnered with. It was fun! still find it hard as I’m more a range person then melee. It was good to have a change. #lotro

Well, I've started the #LOTRO Anniversary with Myrlas and Lamuna, at least and grabbed a few outfit pieces for my second account.

But my attention span is awful, so I'm going to switch games and sign off socials.

I've been a bit "stuck" knowing how to engage with the #LOTRO Anniversary as a **player**.

That might sound insane. But I have a few hundred event tokens on my main account and I'm at the Figments of Splendour cap. I don't grind the LI reward track.

I do need festivity tokens for some of the new weapons.

But I've switched to my second account, to characters I don't see very often like my High Elf below. I'll also duo-quest my hobbit couple.

Then I can play it a bit, but not too much.

I've been officially playing #LOTRO 9 Years now. My Y9 giftbox had the "Blue Orb" emote, which is kinda neat.

It's not red, no fiery eye is burning into my soul and it's not a Seeing Stone. Plus, for Nwyn, Sauron's long gone anyway.

Due to people being generous over Ko-Fi this week, I will soon be signing up for a year of @cyd to clear out tweets older than 1 month and importing those into a "holding" BlueSky account.

That should clear out anything that's not just "official" announcements.

But I've had generous people on both the #LOTRO and #FFXIV side. Also sometimes random, amazing people who say "thanks" without specifying what for. And I think that's lovely.

After totally freaking out, I've re-activated my Anniversary Missions post, but with a big "based on Bullroarer" notice, because Cord said that "The Missions will arrive with our next patch".

I'm going to play some Anniversary for myself for the first time since it opened 12hrs ago.

Here's a random outfit I made with the new jacket.

Does anyone in the #LOTRO player base recognise the red outfit of the dude on the left?

Only one of these three outfits is from the anniversary and that blue dress is in the gift-box rather than for barter. The middle one is Midsummer.

The left one, I don't recognise at all. Unless the shoulderpiece is the Wildermore one, but dyed?

[Update] I've added previews of the new "Jacket and Leggings of Baker's Delight" worn by four more races/body shape combos.

Hopefully this'll help you decide which character to use it the most on without much logging in/out.

Today's been a loooong day. But I've been able to pre-draft most of tomorrow's #LOTRO Anniversary guide updates because the public beta server was up.

It means I'll have less stress at the start of the event compared to normal, which is good.

But as I had my first session of the autism assessment process today, I'm shattered.

Off to sleep now and won't be rushing up.
