Good morning.

Regular listeners will remember that there’s someone who decorates the postboxes in our village regularly with seasonal #knitting and #crochet #art.

Well today I found out that it’s a woman!

I can’t pretend not to be slightly disappointed that it isn’t a man 😅

Maybe I should start making rival toppers and start a turf war?

The new #transmitter I tested last week was installed at #Ipswich #CommunityRadio today in plant room of the general hospital (antenna is on maternity block) along with a SIM for a better LTE network, we now have full 50W output and full telemetry/control available via the PC (which also does #soundprocessing and #RDS ), so I can check all this is working (including keeping an eye on the FM deviation and TX endstage temperature) from home or my office 20 km away.. #BroadcastEngineering #Suffolk

A trial of #Wrightbus hydrogen buses for Sizewell C workers has launched in #Suffolk, marking a step towards reducing construction emissions. If successful, Sizewell C could order up to 150 #buses, creating the UK's largest #hydrogen fleet. This initiative supports the region’s hydrogen #economy, creates #UK jobs, and reduces local transport impacts. Ryze Power supplies the green hydrogen, and a mobile refuelling system is also being tested. Sizewell C’s goal is to decarbonise its operations and accelerate the hydrogen transition. Wrightbus’s hydrogen buses, built in Northern #Ireland, contribute to UK manufacturing. The trial aims to encourage further hydrogen adoption across the region. If successful, it could help establish a broader hydrogen #transport network in the East of #England.

Not sure if turning the #A14 into the #M14 would be a miracle cure (a Northern bypass for #Ipswich does make more sense, but won't happen overnight) - either would only provide fairly short term gains, they would soon fill up with traffic!

A wider problem is bad #driving during the time pressures of the rush hour - more businesses should adopt flexible working to alleviate this (the lorry drivers are already working 24/7)
