In tonight's debate, in the opinion of uncritical & inattentive listeners (who are in the majority), #Vance probably won & #Walz probably lost because Vance came off as the better & more authoritative speaker but, on the merits in the mind of people who actually listened to what was said, Walz won & whoever you supported & were rooting for before the debate started, you probably still support now & I see nothing changing in terms of who anyone votes for in November.

The debate between #Walz & #Vance airs tomorrow night on CBS (and other channels simultaneously) tomorrow 10/1 at 6pm PST.

I'm looking forward to it but probably won't watch it live. Will record it on my DVR & watch the highlights on fast forward afterward.

I predict that Vance will refuse to "debate" Walz again just as #DiaperDon has refused to debate #Harris again because they're #losers . . .

This morning, the #TalkingHeads started saying that #Harris only chose #Walz over #Shapiro because it was the "safe" choice.

Now, they're saying that it was the "smart" choice.

IMO, it was always the SMARTER choice.

Shaprio isn't going anywhere & he'll be in #PA as governor to support the #HarrisWalz ticket. So, Harris didn't need Shapiro to win in #PA.

However, Walz can help Harris with the #disaffected #white #male #bluecollar & #rural voters who are unhappy with #Drumpf (but didn't see another choice until now) not only in PA but also in the #Midwest (where he's from) & across the country in red & purple districts & states which could also benefit the Dems in Congressional & Senate races, not just the race for #POTUS .

Note that, Walz was a #Dem who represented a rural #GOP
#Congressional district for over a decade.

Shaprio would have ONLY helped Harris in PA & he would have alienated the type of voters Walz is more likely to attract.

So, Walz was definitely the SMARTER choice!
